Anyone seen or looked into creating any automation programes for this game?

Iv done lots of looking around the well know botting sites and from what iv seen people concider it too hard to create a bot for, is this true?

How many people actually play the game?

As for 'hard to make a bot for', it depends a bit on what you have to do in the game. Some games are quest heavy where the only 'real' experience can be gained through quests, that makes botting hard since you'd also have to bot the questing-interface, etc.

Im pretty sure i read somewhere on their forums that they can sometimes get a peak of 900 players each day over the weekend, i know that dont sound like much but eve started small in its early days and just got bigger

As for what you do, its pretty much eve but with Mechs instead, you can mine, rat(grind), missions, manufacture ect
