I thought it might be a nice idea to try something, so I uploaded Questor to github. You can help out in development, etc.

I just added "Storyline botting", or well at least for Materials of War Preparation (lvl4-version only!). It's not ready for release yet, but its on Github :)

Note it is not compiled, so you need to compile it to test it.

In theory you should be able to compile using these "simple" steps (note if you, or the steps, fail at any one time your on your own as I will *not* give support):

1) Download Questor source from GitHub
2) Unzip to a directory (lets say: C:\Questor)
3) Open up a command prompt (Start Menu -> run -> cmd.exe)
4) Goto the directory with the questor source (e.g. cd c:\questor)
5) Type in the following command:
c:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.5\msbuild
6) Copy all the files from the C:\Questor\Questor\bin\debug folder to the .net programs folder of innerspace (yes it contains more dll's)

In theory that should work, but if it doesnt then it sucks to be you :)

Doh! I've just added storyline botting as well (any mission which has an xml for it - much like with any common mission). Care to tell me which way do you decline courier/trade/etc storyline missions? Do you visit storyline agent to decline, or there is a command to remove given offer from journal? The latter would be faster, but I didn't find any DirectEver method for it...

Well, I am going through all of the scripts. Fixing the ones that need fixing. I think CCP is playing with the names. so I am dual writing them because of this.

Also noticed you cannot have your cargo bay linked with anything else or sitting behind other window. I am going to retry with resetting windows to default locations. see if that helps with some of the issues I have seen.

Also... The leaving station and getting hung up is directly proportional to the maximimum speed of the ship. The slower it is, the more likely it will get stuck.

Thank you for the release of the code. I seen where you rejected couriers, but did not delve further into the process.

While I do not decline storylines (I only blacklist storylines for the duration of the questor session), you can decline them by talking to the agent (interact) and "saying" decline.

And I am not happy about the way I added storylines but for now it works. The way Questor is setup at the moment makes it very hard to add things like Storylines, etc. So I will most likely rewrite/refactor a lot to make it into a nicer bot, but no idea when :)

And Serpentstar, I have no clue what your saying (sorry). If its bugs your reporting then its in the wrong forum.

... I don't get it. You don't decline courier/trade storylines, but rather just ignore their existence? But, 16 missions later you get a new storyline; and, in case you haven't completed former one and haven't declined it either, you won't get a new one from the same agent! Another storyline agent offers you another storyline, which sucks major ass in case you've got a storyline agent of your corp in your system!

As for flying and declining, well... this hack could be done - but any chance you add a method to DirectEve to remove an offer from journal remotely?

Cant you just check it daily and delete it by hand or decline it if it can be done remotely? I dont think it would be big deal

First, a botting toon gets storylines more often than just "daily". Second, ideal bot has to never require player attention, unless to convert LP into isk, and then isk into real. I.e. you should be able to set up your bot and fly to Mediterranean Sea for a week, then return and find your toon farm up and running, rather than stuck or banned...

We should get a mission repository going on github and start centralizing all the sets and getting "master" versions. Managing them all is becoming unwieldy.
Legit ISK.com - Not so legit

Agreed. Da-Teach would you like them on GitHub with Questor or should they be elsewhere?

I did everything according to instructions in the course of making the mission there is an error:

In Version Da-Teach-Questor-d428861, there was no fault, but this version is already available for download on the server and the bot had a problem with the performance of the mission. I got stuck in the mission "Damsel in Distress'.

Pls Help

Da-Teach was right, when say that tis forum is out of control. But I think, closing [BUG REPORT] was not a good idea.
Now we see 3 identical problems in different posts.

cymesky: this is solution

I have never moderate any forum. But I wish to try

is this still valid/"up to date"?
I'm getting few of those messages: "Project file contains ToolsVersion="4.0", which is not supported by this versio
n of MSBuild. Treating the project as if it had ToolsVersion="3.5".
". No errors or warnings tho Think

No, you should replace v3.5 with v4.0.30319 or something like this.

No, the v3.5 is 100% correct. InnerSpace does not support .NET v4.0.

If you do not have a v3.5 folder then you need to install .NET v3.5 SP1 (google is your friend). Yes, even Windows 7 could have v3.5 SP1 not installed by default (not 100% sure).

With 3.5 I have no luck to compile Questor from Github (get errors).
And Questor compiled with .NET 4.0 work fine with InnerSpace.

about github merging/branching/pulling.

how do i see which forks of the experimental branches from other coders like captobvious/systemcontrol/etc are pushed ( is this equivalent to pull requests ??) into the da_teach experimental tree.

f.e. SystemControl’s Questor Statstics are in the actual da_teach experimental branch. but which version of it ? is it updated until the last commit about ammo usage ?
or captobvious' recent mission specific ammo/drone commit. is this pushed/pulled/merged into the da_teach experimental branch ?

or the other way around. am i able to use github to fork the da_teach experimental tree and merge it with all upcoming commits from other coders in a local tree by myself ?

forgive me my false usage of termina if i got some of the github features wrong.
